Presentation and first oral approach

Today’s lesson served as a presentation of the subject of Communication Skills. We also had time to make our first approach to the oral part of the subject. We first had to write on a paper the main facts of our academic life, then tell about us to a classmate, following the previous paper, who had to present ourselves to our peers.
For me, the last part of the activity becomes the most difficult as I am not used to talk aloud to so many people. It is the moment when you realize how important is to know how to express yourself in a good way and to be self-confidence.
I noticed that when trying to explain something, or sell something, in our professional life, the movements we do while talking, our glaze, and even our voice can influence on the audience to take one decision or another. Most of us must improve in this part as we have a lack of practice on it. I believe the way to do it is by following some tips from teachers, who know about that, and trying until we can deal with that kind of events.

I will finally leave you a short video with some tips about oral expositions. I hope it results a good beginning to achieve our goal and you consider this advice which can be useful:
